KRI SIM-367 Carried Out Passing Exercise With 3 Russian Warships In The Java Sea

The Indonesian Navy's warship, KRI Sultan Iskandar Muda -367 (KRI SIM-367) carried out a Passing Exercise (Passex) to release three ships. Russian Navy in the Java Sea, (17/6).

Furthermore, Tactical Maneuvering was carried out which was divided into three formations with the symbols PCG, GRK, SVN for the designation of Russian ships.

The first session formed an oblique formation of a bearing position of 135º, followed by the second formation of GRK, SVN, in which KRI SIM-367 had to maneuver until a relative bearing position of 270º formed a straight line.

In the last session forming a formation where all units maneuvered behind the Russian ship PCG which became the first unit with a distance of 1,000 yards.

At the end of the Passex exercise, the Indonesian Navy and the Russian Navy carried out the Farewell Pass.

The Commander of KRI SIM-367 gave a Farewell Speech to the Russian Navy.

After that the Russian warships continued their journey back to their base.
